A quick set of guidelines for making the best use of Subversion in your day-to-day software development work.
You can browse the repository using any web browser on any system. Just type in the URL address to the repository and give your login information. All information is transferred via an encrypted connection (https).
To make modifications in the repository you need a subversion client.
If you are running on a Solaris box at ISY, do the following:
% module add subversion
% svn help
Linux boxes should have the svn command ready available.
